đŹElon Musk confirms public will ‘not be seeing’ Kanye West’s Twitter again after rants
After days of posting that was widely reviled as racist, sexist, misogynistic and ignorant the rapper, 47, thanked Elon Musk for âallowing me to ventâ on Sunday night

Kanye West has deactivated his Twitter following days of racist, misogynistic, and anti-Semitic posts with the websiteâs owner, Elon Musk stating that his account would be hidden from view for most users.
After days of posting that was widely reviled as racist, sexist, misogynistic, and ignorant by celebs and other social media users alike, the rapper, 47, thanked Elon Musk for âallowing me to ventâ on Sunday night before announcing he was âlogging outâ of Twitter.
His offensive erratic behavior was allowed to continue for three days, during which time he posted statements such as âI love Hitler,â and âIâm a Nazi,â as well as claiming âI have dominion over my wife,â in a post referring to Bianca Censori appearing fully nude on the Grammys red carpet.
In a post following Westâs announcement that he was âlogging outâ, Elon Musk, the billionaire owner of X, formerly Twitter, said: âGiven what he has posted, his account is now classified as NSFW [not safe for work]. You should not be seeing that anymore.â
The erratic and incessant posting, much of it deeply offensive, has caused people to fear for the mental stability of the music star. But on Sunday he uploaded a video claiming he was sound of mind, despite a triad of Tweets taking aim at his old rival Taylor Swift during Sundayâs Super Bowl game.
âI know youâre all thinking Iâm going something through right now and Iâve got bags under my eyes and s***,â a groggy West told his followers.
He added, âI wouldnât want nobody to like, do an intervention on me – thatâs why I wanted to put this video up cause youâre all thinking, âYe really going it through something right now. Somebody need to go get them or go take his Twitter and stuff like thatâ.â
He added that he would not apologize for or take back any of his tweets, saying: âI got my ideas out; thatâs all that happened and that was very freeing for me – and it was worth everything, it was worth everything to do that.
âBut Iâm just telling you calmly that I am in a good space – Iâm really in a positive space, itâs cathartic.â
Meanwhile, Milo Yiannopoulos, the owner of the talent management company that represents Kanye West, said his client was taking an indefinite break from X, according to the Hollywood Reporter. âYe [West] has deactivated his X account for the time being,’ Yiannopoulos said on X/Twitter Sunday evening.â
Jonathan Greenblatt, the chief executive of the Anti-Defamation League, blasted Westâs âdangerous behaviour,â the New York Times reports, calling his posts âa flagrant and unequivocal display of hate.â
